The staff of the department of microbial pathology, university of medical sciences, Ondo, has today visited Prof. M. S Odimayo to familiarize and rejoice with him on his appointment as Special Adviser to Ondo state Governor on health matters.
The delegation led by Mr Oguntuase Samuel, conveyed the congratulatory message of all members of the department to the professor in his office at Akure.
“Sir, all members of our department are happy for you on your appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor on health matters”.
“As the professor of our department, you have always being like father to us, we do not see you as a boss from all indications and actions. We have always being enjoying your leadership role”. Thus necessitated this early visit.
Speaking further, Mr Onetufo Olabode said I am one of the beneficiaries of your good gesture and can not afford to take it for granted.
Mrs Oloba. P. Oluwayemisi in her statement, said you do not know me from anywhere, yet you were there for me.
“Sir, even though you do not know me before, yet, when destiny brought me your way, you stood firm. Sir, may your children and children children receive favour. May they never lack valuable people”.
Also in attendance is Mrs Owoloye Ebun.
While responding, Prof Odimayo said, ” “`I am grateful to God Almighty for using the Governor to bring me to this place. The Governor has always wished that young people grow and that they grow without any incumbrances”.“`
“`”However, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is an intentional person, whose concern is the development of our dear state and the citizens’ welfare. All we need to do is to team up with him so as to enable him deliver dividend of democracy to the people in real deal”.“`
He thereafter expressed deepest satisfaction in the visit of UNIMED microbial pathology department staffs to his office even in less than a week in the office. “`”It is a sign of love and regards, I appreciate you all for that”,“` the Professor said.
