Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has branded the club’s latest recruit, Leny Yoro, a “huge talent.”
Ten Hag said this while praising the 18-year-old for showing plenty of promise during his first training session with Man United.
Yoro recently completed his move to the Red Devils from Lille on Thursday.
He turned down interest from La Liga champions Real Madrid to make the move to Old Trafford.
Yoro was handed a start for Man United’s pre-season friendly win against Rangers on Saturday.
When asked if he is happy to see Yoro’s first game for Man United, Ten Hag told MUTV: “I think that is the right word—very exciting, for him and for us.
“We are so pleased we signed him. He’s a huge talent, and we are really looking forward to working with him, to build him.
“You could see he’s a player straight on the pitch yesterday in the training drills, so comfortable. We are really excited about him.”
