ONDO LAWMAKER, TIMEHIN ADELEGBE BEGINS HOUSE-2-HOUSE CAMPAIGN FOR AYEDATIWA.
The lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency at the green chamber, Hon. (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe has commenced a house-to-house campaign for the governorship ambition of the Ondo APC flagbearer, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa.
The campaign which took place at the Ifon, the headquarters of the Ose local government area had in attendance Hon. Falana Abayomi, Hon. Rotimi Oluwafemi, Hon. Bobade Omolade and other notable leaders and members of the party in the council area.
Speaking at the event, a two time House of Assembly Member, Hon. Sola Oluyede, popularly known as Sola Gombe who spoke on behalf of other Ose leaders from the central zone of the council area eulogized Adelegbe for his loyalty to the party at all times. He apted on the motive behind lawmaker’s dedication and hard work for the success of the party which he noted for continous victory and existence of the party in power.
The former women leader of the party in Ose local government area, Mrs. Bose Olagookun, speaking on behalf of the Women reiterated their committment as to stand by Hon. Adelegbe and support the governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa in securing his governorship ambition in the forthcoming election.
Reacting to the large crowd of the campaign, the Chairman of all chairmen in Ose, Nelson Adepoyi, preached party unity as the only panacea for total victory.
Similarly, the Local Government APC Publicity Secretary and the Coordinator Ayedatiwa Grassroot Network, Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu appealed to members of the forum on the need to remain loyal and committed to the course of the party.
Also speaking, a chieftain of the party, Engr. Gbalajobi Babatunde took time to applaud the women for a job well done and promised unflinching support from the leadership of the movement. He appeal to other APC leaders to see reasons why Adelegbe should be allowed to champion the course of leadership in Ose council area going by his political antecedents regarding the party’s victory and dexterity.
Adelegbe Progressive Women Forum is the women wing of the Adelegbe Grassroots Movement. A group which has been known for it serial victories in the previous elections held in Ose local government area.
