As the Ondo state 2024 governorship election is drawing nearer, a member of House of Representatives representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr) Timehin Adelegbe is boosting the chances of his party APC in Owo/Ose federal constituency with Mega Empowerment
.
The empowerment program began at Ifon, headquarters of Ose Local Government Area and Oredegbe LCDA where the federal lawmaker distributed Deep Freezers, Motorcycles, Hair Dryers, Sewing Machines, Water Pump Machines and Generators worth billion of naira to the people.
The second phase of the program took place at Idoani, headquarters of Irekari LCDA where some unemployed youths were trained in Soap making by the officials of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) before the distribution of the same empowerment materials to artisans, farmers and non-indigenes while market women were given cash grants to boost their businesses at Oja Oba.
Distributing the items and grants, Hon. Adelegbe thanked the people for trooping out in large number to welcome him saying, their heavy presence indicated their love for him and the party.
He explained that the empowerment materials and cash grants are to energize them to surpass their past voting records for APC adding that, the empowerment program is the begining of good thing to come saying a vote for Aiyedatiwa is a vote more development, transformation and economic empowerment.
The royal father on the occasion, Onidogun, Oba Moses Ekundayo Bakare while endorsing the candidacy of Hon.Aiyedatiwa charged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items. He assured the donor of massive vote for Aiyedatiwa and Adelami because of their impressive performance in the last ten months.
A member of House of Assembly. Hon. Tunji Oshati congratulated the beneficiaries and used the forum to solicit massive vote for Aiyedatiwa judging by his democratic nature and simplicity.
Speaking with the press at the end of the successful event, the chairman of the LCDA, Hon. Adekunle Dennis expressed absolute confidence in the voting strength of his people for APC which informed the impressive turnout for the event. He equally boast of massive vote for Aiyedatiwa/Adelami on November 16 to continue with their legendary work saying the mega empowerment program was strategically designed to double the voting strength of the area.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the donor, Hon. Adelegbe whom they described as the grandmaster of Owo/Ose politics based on his records of achievements six years.
They did not only promised to come out enmasse to vote for Aiyedatiwa/Adelami on November 16 but start house to house campaign to woo others towards voting for APC candidate.
The APC chairman in Ose, Hon. Ladi Tenabe later received some PDP members into the party. He charged the new entrants to follow the rules and regulations of the party and work assiduously for the success of the party in the coming election.
