The Former Senator that represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted after Shell, Agip and some other multinationals announced that they will exist the country.
While reacting, Senator Shehu Sani described it as a great opportunity to decolonise our economy and our country. He went on and noted that after 63 years of our political independence, it’s enough for us to explore and refine our oil, noting that Nigeria‘s resources should be for the benefit of Nigerians.
Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Sunday evening.
He wrote: “The Exit of Shell, Agip and other Oil multinationals from Nigeria is a great opportunity to decolonise our economy and country. After 63years of political independence it’s enough time for us to explore and refine our oil.Nigeria’s resources should be for the benefit of Nigerians.”
It should be recalled that Shell Oil and some other multinationals recently announced that they will be existing the country, after operating in the country for decades.
