The executive Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has reacted after he paid a visit to the Chairman of the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers and Olojudo of Ido Ekiti, HRM Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro.
Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji stated on his verified Facebook page; “The most important ingredient for development in our state is peace and security, and our royal fathers have a central role to play in fostering peace in their domain. In line with this, I paid a visit to the Chairman of the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro, and the Olojudo of Ido-Ekiti. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss how our Royal Fathers can utilize their wealth of knowledge and experience to support the government in advancing the state, as well as to harness the mediatory, reconciliatory, and advisory roles inherent to our Royal Fathers.”
He stated further; “I also visited the residence of Pa. Lawrence Kolawole, a frontline member of Ekiti APC Elders Forum, to commiserate with him on the loss of his wife. Mama lived an accomplished life of a luminous legacy and service. She will be deeply missed. May her soul rest well.”
