Recent development with 33LCDAs and the decision of Mr. Aiyedatiwa’s Government to apply political solution amidst legal fireworks is suggestive. Let me quickly caution naysayers who think our opinions geared towards good Governance is malicious. No! We have trained our minds beyond petty, frivolous, flippantly-malicious, hate-driven but needless political strife. What we struggle to entrench in our people is a system that works regardless of who is involved. Improving our society for good is the main concern.
We understand the implication of bad policies and after effects of criminal silence. Now that Mr. Aiyedatiwa has considered the need to review the supposed landmark judgement and deplore political solution, we shall expect a better outcome that positively impacts our people for good
Congratulations to those selected for Local Government transition purposes, May Ondo State continue to shine. However, we still canvass the independence of Local Government as provided for under S7. Nothing can invalidate this provision. Any opinion contrary is inconsistent with the 1999CFRN (as amended). We must therefore anticipate a better direction from the Supreme Court.
