One of the prominent and leading governorship aspirants of the party, APC, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, flanked by his bossom friend and colleague Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, MHR, Owo/Ose Fed. Constituency, Abuja, at the mega rally for the By-Election of the vacant seat of Akoko NW/NE and the party candidate, Ife Ehindero.
I can boldly say that Hon. (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe is a person to watch out for now and in the coming years.
When Governor Rotimi Akeredolu was alive, Adelegbe demonstrated immeasurable devotion to late Akeredolu and everything about him in totality, such that towards the end of his first time in office as Ondo State governor, Akeredolu made strong moves to get the political nomads in his cabinet on his side, which he succeeded.
This was made possible and easy because A<span;>delegbe went out of his way to support him, satisfying the queries of the aforementioned nomads regarding the faithfulness of the governor. At the same time, Adelegbe became the critical factor in Akeredolu’s administration then. That kind <span;>of loyalty is uncommon among politicians in Ondo state, which implies that Hon. (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe is a different breed in the political firmament.
In terms of achievements, Adelegbe is up there with other politicians doing great things in Nigeria. He is currently riding the political space in Ondo, but converting all the hype and prestige accorded to him for the betterment of his people and Ondo state as a whole.
In a similar manner, it is worthy to note that Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin who served as a deputy speaker Ondo state House of Assembly and a two term member House of Rep., is undoubtedly a grassroots politician with the political map of Ondo state in his hands. Th<span;>e political influence of Akinfolarin in the All Progressives Congress (APC) has known no bound from the 9th Assembly to the 10th Assemblies. He had worked so hard to make APC very popular in Odigbo Local Government Area and this had in turn, made the party won more seats in the past state and national assembly elections, just like his friend Hon. (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe has made Owo/Ose a progressive stronghold.

In the final analysis, as the big stage is fast getting set for Ondo state governorship election, one transformative option that is available to the good people of the Sunshine state is Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin. He’s evidently loaded with innovative and transformative ideas of jet-age governance.
